Mission

To advise the SIA Board on matters related to creating and maintaining a list of American industrial heritage sites that may be eligible for listing on the World Heritage List. This list will be published and maintained on the SIA web site, submitted to TICCIH with appropriate supporting information and to the U.S. Park Service. A secondary task of this committee is to create and maintain a 10 Most Endangered American Industrial Sites List of important American industrial heritage sites that are at risk of being lost or destroyed in the near future. This list will also be published and maintained on the SIA web site. All recommendations are to be submitted to the Board for its approval.
